Who Is Jeff Mills Redux

I’ve been enthralled and wowed by this new video making tool, www.animoto.com and been up late at night playing with it’s wonderful functions.

Animoto mixes pictures and music together and creates a nice mash, in minutes. It’s free to use and you can embed the video on your website, blog, myspace, facebook page, and basically anywhere one can put an html tag.

So, I just made an Animoto video for the upcoming Canada Marketing Summit, in the post below, and I also just made a new video for the landing page on my www.WhoisJeffMills.com page as well.

One thing is… I cannot get this rad song outa my head that I put in the mix. It’s kind of a U2 Meets the Cult meets the Grapes of Wrath (Canadian Rock Band from the 90’s) song, that just makes me FEEL GOOD listening to it. It’s by a band called Pure Dream Ladder and the song is “One More Day.”

Creating a Branded Look with Marketing Graphics on Your site

March 10th, 2007 | Comments |

Jeff MillsBack in 2004, I went to Armand Morin’s Big Seminar, and while there, I had some photos of me taken. I had seen what Armand created with his online branding, and I wanted to copy it. Now you see a ton of people with their “cross your arms” poses on all their websites. My friend Val Smyth told me these cross your arms photos make people look like they are ‘closed off’ but I guess I never thought of that.

Those photos cost me about $250 to take, and I am so grateful that I spent the money, as I was able to leverage those photos into a brand. Have you ever seen this picture on any of my sites? It’s back when I had hair, which is strange cause this was only 3 years ago when I took these.. Man, losing your hair sucks, but oh well not big deal.
