Wow, this little video is gonna create quite the controversy in the MLM, Network Marketing industry. This is video #3 in my retirement announcement series leading up to my big announcement next week on what I am doing and where I am heading after shutting down two separate business models I had been running for the past 5 years.

I am no longer promoting Coastal Vacations Club or Global Resorts Network.

I am moving into a NEW program, putting my focus on building a giant team and teaching that team 1 thing and 1 thing only. It has NOTHING to do with internet marketing, my story maketing, PPC, blogging, social media, postcards, voicebroadcasting.

All you’ll need to master is ONE THING! – no more learning 50 things that confuse you and keep your paralyzed with analysis paralysis.

What is that one thing? Watch the video.

Click here to view the embedded video.

Now the video voice sync did not show up exactly correct… not sure why… but I was not about to re-record a 20 minute video where I ’one timed it’ and just talked stream of consciousness. So.. put up with it, it’s the words I want you to know and listen more than how I look and sync.

I say some really remarkable things about MLM and internet marketing and why so many people fail at MLM trying to use the web. I am sure I’ll get a ton of neative people here, as well as a very large vocal majority who will back me up and who will defend where I am coming from and why I what I am saying is true.

See for yourself.

GET ON THE ANNOUNCEMENT LIST BELOW!

Click here to get on the Announcement list

Please make comments below with what you think, I’d love to hear from you.

What do you think about that 1 Thing? Do you think people should learn to master 10-50 things to be successful with MLM and direct sales using the web for lead generation?

Make sure you also listen to the part where I talk about my leader’s launch and please contact me, via phone or email if you are interested, I’ll get back with you when I get back from London.

So, now the news media is finally coming clean with info saying… we are in a recession. Duh!

It does not take a rocket scientist to see the trends which started back in early 2007 and are now spiraling out before us left and right.

Lessons from these notes:

1. Don’t put your job salvation in the hands of another company, it might not make it.

2. Good businesses do go outa business often. Remeber 92-98% of all businesses, whether home based or brick and mortar fail, go belly up.

3. Running a business in good and bad times is hard, takes work, and don’t expect to get rich over night.

4. Owning a Home Based Business is a better shot of financial independence. With some training, hard work and smart marketing, one can make a living, work from home and get the freetime and financial leverage everyone always dreams of.

One program doing this for me is Coastal Vacations. It’s been making me money in good times and bad times, people love to travel and will travel, no matter what the economy is like. And People want to make big commissions, not little piddly ones. With Coastal, you earn $1000 selling a travel membership, up to $9705.

See what Coastal Travel has to offer for you and your family. And cautiously read through the bad news and proof that people need a new way of making a living by reading all the store closings below.

Origins: During prolonged economic downturns (or when signs indicate such a phenomenon is looming on the horizon), retail chains often retrench by scaling back expansion plans, delaying the openings of planned new stores, and closing underperforming or redundant outlets. The long list of chain stores referenced below includes businesses currently in a variety of different financial states; the listed stores are not (as some versions of this item claim) all closing down for good: Some have gone bankrupt and closed for good, some have sought bankruptcy protection but remained open, some have already been through bankruptcy proceedings and have emerged in a reorganized state, some have closed a significant portion of their outlets, and some have closed a relatively small percentage of under performing stores while continuing to open new locations.

A couple of important points to consider are:

* Filing for bankruptcy protection does not necessarily mean a company is going out of business: Chapter 11 provisions allow businesses to propose reorganization plans that will enable them to continue functioning as they pay their creditors over time. Companies who file for Chapter 11 may still go bankrupt anyway (Chapter 7), or their reorganization plans may not be approved by bankruptcy courts, or they may emerge from Chapter 11 protection too weak to remain viable for long, or they may be bought up by liquidation firms, but none of those outcomes is inevitable — many businesses have thrived (or least regained a stable level of performance) after emerging from Chapter 11 protection.

* Although federal law allows companies to stop honoring gift cards when they file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, not all businesses do so. Some companies may continue to redeem store gift cards while they reorganize, while others may temporarily suspend redemption of gift cards for some period of time and resume it later. That any particular retail business has recently filed for Chapter 11 protection does not automatically mean that any gift cards or gift certificates it has previously issued will “not be valid for much longer.”

* It is normal, even in the best of economic times, for large chains to periodically prune their operations by closing older and underperforming outlets. That a chain has closed some of its locations is not necessarily an indicator that the business is experiencing financial difficulty — important factors to consider are what percentage of the chain’s total locations those closings represent, and whether the chain is continuing to open new outlets while it closes others.

Business information of this nature tends to be volatile, especially in times of economic upheaval. As best we could determine according to various news accounts published so far in 2008, the chains named above are planning, or have made, the following cutbacks:

* The Ann Taylor chain of women’s clothing stores (which includes Ann Taylor, LOFT, Ann Taylor Factory and LOFT Outlet stores) said in Novermber 2008 they would expand the scope of a restructuring announced in January 2008 that included the closing of 117 stores (out of approximately 966 locations).

* The Bombay Company chain of imported home furnishings stores filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in September 2007. All 384 of its U.S.-based stores were closed and liquidated in January 2008 (but new ownership still operates approximately 48 Bombay & Co. stores in Canada).

* The Caché chain of women’s specialty apparel stores closed 14 underperforming outlets (out of 295 stores) but is still opening new locations.

* The Charming Shoppes chain of plus-size women’s apparel
stores has closed 150 of its approximately 2,360 outlets.

* The Circuit City chain of retail electronics stores filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in November 2008 and is closing 155 stores across the U.S. (More information about Circuit City’s business operations under Chapter 11 protection can be found here.)

* The CompUSA chain of consumer electronics stores was sold to the Gordon Brothers Group restructuring firm in December 2007, and most of its 103 outlets were subsequently closed. In January 2008 many of the remaining assets and the CompUSA brand were sold to Systemax, Inc. which currently operates 23 CompUSA stores in Florida, Illinois, North Carolina and Puerto Rico, as well as an online store, CompUSA.com. (CompUSA continues to accept gift cards.)

* The Dillard’s department store chain announced the closure of 21 outlets in 2008 and said it expects more store closures in 2009.

* The Disney Store chain was reacquired by the Walt Disney Co. from Children’s Place Retail Stores in March 2008, and about 98 (out of approximately 335) of the chain’s North American locations were closed as part of the transition to new ownership.

* The Eddie Bauer chain of casual apparel stores closed 29 outlets (out of about 376 locations) and opened 10 new outlets during the first nine months of 2008.

* The Ethan Allen chain of home furnishings stores closed 12 retail design centers and two service centers in 2008.

* The Foot Locker chain of shoe stores chain closed 274 outlets (out of more than 3,700) in 2007 and another 60 in the first quarter of 2008, with more such closures likely.

* Whitehall Jewelers acquired the remnants of the Friedman’s and Crescent chains in early 2008 after that combined company entered bankruptcy, then Whitehall itself filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in June 2008 and began liquidating and closing all 373 of its remaining stores.

* The Gap chain of clothiers (whose brands include Old Navy and Banana Republic) closed 17 stores while opening 37 more during the third quarter of 2008, ending with a total of 3,190 outlets. The company expects to close 115 stores while opening 100 more locations during the 2008 fiscal year.

* The Movie Gallery/Hollywood Video video rental chain filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in October 2007, just after announcing plans to close 520 stores. In February 2008 the chain announced closings of 400 more outlets, and in April 2008 Movie Gallery said they were shutting down another 160 underperforming stores. The chain emerged from bankruptcy reorganization in May 2008 and currently operates about 3,500 outlets.

* The Home Depot chain of home improvements stores announced in May 2008 that it would be closing 15 underperforming outlets.

* The KB Toys chain of retail toy stores entered Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in January 2004 and at that time announced plans to close 375 of its outlets. It emerged from Chapter 11 reorganization in August 2005.

* The Kirkland’s chain of home decor stores is expecting to close 130 (of its approximately 335) outlets by the middle of 2009.

* The Levitz Furniture chain filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection (for the third time in ten years) in November 2007 and shortly afterwards began the process of closing its stores and liquidating its remaining inventory.

* The Lowe’s chain of home improvement stores might open fewer new outlets in 2008 and 2009 than originally planned, but the company still expects to complete the opening of between 115 to 120 new stores in 2008, with more new stores (and no closures) to follow in 2009.

* The Macy’s chain of department stores (which also includes Bloomingdale’s) closed 11 (of its approximately 850) outlets in 2008.

* Pacific Sunwear closed 74 underperforming stores in its d.e.m.o. line in 2007 and closed all 154 of its remaining d.e.m.o. stores in 2008. (The company has not so far announced plans to close any of its core Pacific Sunware outlets.)

* The Pep Boys chain of auto supply and repair stores closed 31 low-return outlets (out of approximately 600 stores) at the end of 2007.

* The Sharper Image chain of electronics and specialty gifts stores filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in February 2008, then began closing and liquidating all 184 of its outlets in June 2008.

* Sprint, a global provider of voice, data and Internet services, announced in January 2008 that it would be closing about 125 of its 1,400 retail outlets.

* Talbots Inc. announced in November 2008 that it was seeking to sell off its chain of J. Jill casual clothier stores. (Talbots has already shed its Talbots Kids, Talbots Mens and U.K. businesses and has closed an additional 28 Talbots stores out of about 1,400 total outlets.) However, we have found no announcement that Talbots is planning to close any J. Jill outlets in the near future: The chain still operates 283 locations, is still opening new stores, and is still selling and redeeming gift cards.

* The Wickes Furniture chain began liquidating merchandise and fixtures at locations nationwide in February 2008 as part of bankruptcy proceedings.

* Wilsons Leather (the Leather Experts) shut down its mall-based locations in Fall 2008, but the Wilsons Leather Outlet stores and e-commerce business was acquired by AM Retail (a subsidiary of G-III Apparel Group), which currently operates 119 Wilsons outlets in the U.S. (Gift cards purchased from now-closed Wilsons Leather mall stores can still be redeemed at Wilsons Leather Outlet locations as well as through the Wilsons Leather web site.)

* Zales Corp,, which operates Zales Jewelers, Zales Outlet, Gordon’s Jewelers, Peoples Jewellers, Mappins Jewellers, and Piercing Pagoda, closed approximately 105 retail outlets (out of 2,130) in 2008, half of them kiosks and half of them stores. However, the company also opened approximately 100 new outlets in 2008, so the net change in the number of Zales-operated stores was relatively small.

The $85,000,000,000.00 bailout of AIG.

I’m in favor of giving $85,000,000,000 to America in a We Deserve It Dividend.

To make the math simple, let’s assume there are 200,000,000 bonafide U.S. Citizens 18+.

Our population is about 301,000,000 +/- counting every man, woman and child. So 200,000,000 might be a fair stab at adults 18 and up.. So divide 200 million adults 18+ into $85 billon that equals $425,000.00.

My plan is to give $425,000 to every person 18+ as a We Deserve It Dividend.

Of course, it would NOT be tax free.

So let’s assume a tax rate of 30%.

Every individual 18+ has to pay $127,500.00 in taxes.

That sends $25,500,000,000 right back to Uncle Sam.

But it means that every adult 18+ has $297,500.00 in their pocket.

A husband and wife has $595,000.00.

What would you do with $297,500.00 to $595,000.00 in your family?

Pay off your mortgage – housing crisis solved.

Repay college loans – what a great boost to new grads

Put away money for college – it’ll be there

Save in a bank – create money to loan to entrepreneurs.

Buy a new car – create jobs

Invest in the market – capital drives growth

Pay for your parent’s medical insurance – health care improves

Enable Deadbeat Dads to come clean – or else

Remember this is for every adult U S Citizen 18+ including the folks who lost their jobs at Lehman Brothers and every other company that is cutting back. And of course, for those serving in our Armed Forces.

If we’re going to re-distribute wealth let’s really do it…instead of trickling out a puny $1000.00 ( “vote buy” ) economic incentive that is being proposed by one of our candidates for President.

If we’re going to do an $85 billion bailout, let’s bail out every adult U S Citizen 18+!

As for AIG – liquidate it.

Sell off its parts.

Let American General go back to being American General.

Sell off the real estate.

Let the private sector bargain hunters cut it up and clean it up.

Here’s my rationale. We deserve it and AIG doesn’t.

Sure it’s a crazy idea that can “never work.”

But can you imagine the Coast-To-Coast Block Party!

How do you spell Economic Boom?

I trust my fellow adult Americans to know how to use the $85 Billion

We Deserve It Dividend more than I do the geniuses at AIG or in Washington DC.

And remember, This plan only really costs $59.5 Billion because $25.5 Billion is returned instantly in taxes to Uncle Sam.

February 14, 2008
Sorry, I am a little late getting this
out today… so if you have been waiting for it, I apologize
for my tardiness.

I have got some good new and bad news.. stay with me, I’ll
explain below once I get through with a small rant… You’ll
have to read all this below to get to the deal at the bottom.

I keep staying up too late… and just didn’t get this out
until now.

Earlier, I mentioned I was offering a “DEAL” or a “Sweethart
Deal” that would be good today Feb 14 and tomorrow, Feb 15,
(Valentines Day = Sweetheart, etc… )

So here is the offer in a super condensed nutshell.

(with some backstory for enjoyment)

I just got back from Kauai and it was amazing.

I saved over $1500 on my car insurance switching to Geico.

(Oops.. wrong commercial)

Let’s try that again…

I saved over $1151 while IN Kauai USING my Travel Club membership.

(I am one of those types that actually uses what they own, so I
can get the social proof that people want to know is real before
they ever “BUY” anything…ie.. Does Coastal Save your money? Umm…
well, it sure has for me…)

Have you seen some of the proof I put on my site?
http://coastal-vacation-club.com/Coastal_Vacation_Proof.html

In my 3 years in this business, that just put me at a total of
$23,000 in vacation dollars SAVED and BACK in my pocket, because
I chose to travel wholesale and not pay full price for it like
all the other suckers out there do blindly without a clue.

I even went through one of those totally lamo and boring time
share tours in Kauai so we could get $100 bucks and find out
what’s the latest in time share comparisons vs. travel club
memberships.

Man, I could have gotten a big huge deal in Kauai… Only $48,000
for the week I was staying in Kauai for 30 years with a time share
purchase… Wheeee!

Oh, and a one time YEARLY maintenance fee of $1295 that is sure to
go up each year on top of all that…

And you know what? PEOPLE WERE BUYING IT UP!

Yep, they were all there, at these little sales tables with
their laptop computers showing people the #’s and they were
shaking their heads in agreement like… well… like…

SHEEPLE

People lead to the slaughter… $50,000 for a time share
membership.

See, what most people dont know is… for $11,000 you can have
IT ALL and never pay a maintenance fee with our travel club
membership.

AND.. TIME SHARES WON’T PAY YOU $9705 PER SALE EITHER…

I asked.. the most they’ll give me is $100 for a referal to
buy a $50,000 package that I payoff in 30 years at 16% interest.

I should mention also people were stoked they paid $50,000. We
even met a couple stoked they paid $1900 for an EXIT package,
which only got them… 2 weeks. Nothing else… Use it for two
weeks, and come pay $50,000 LATER… (those timeshare salesman
are classic…make you believe ANYTHING!)

Anyway… do you see the incredible value we have as travel
club members with all the benefits Coastal offers? If you
have not studied the package in detail… please take a look.

Let me show you some math… (cringe… I hate math, but I’ll
do my best to show you some good math).

Let’s say, you are an average family of 4.

You go on 2 weeks of vacation per year (that’s pushing it I know…
most Americans only take 13 days off a year.. PATHETIC… and it was
to travel to Grandma’s house or the in-laws and sleep on the
hide-a-bed with that one bar that kills your back..)

But for the people.. (less than half) who “Do it up” by staying
in Hotels… they pay on average… $89 per night. (you’d agree
with that right? Fair #?)

So… here is the math.

14 days X $89 per night = $1246 a year

(just for the hotels, not including Airfare, food, rental car,
excursions, etc…)

Now, most of you reading this, would hope you have 30 more years
of vacations left in you.. I know some of you who are in the silver
years.. well… lets hope you got 30 years in ya still .

so….

$1246 (and the price will go up over time too, guaranteed)

$1246 per year X 30 years = $37,380 (hotel lodging only.. boxes
with a bathroom box, everyone sleeps in 1 big room and hears dad
or grandma snore…)

So, that’s a pretty low # I know… only $37,000

So here comes the comparison..

With our travel club membership, we only pay a ONE TIME fee
to join the club, then taxes, processing fees and get week long
condos starting at about $297 for life (based on available
inventories).

Let’s do some math again. (it’s not so hard once you try!)

These are LODGING EXPENSES ONLY….

Coastal Travel Club Members will Pay $11,000 ONE TIME.

Then take 2 weeks of vacations in luxury 4 and 5 star condos
$297 per week for 30 years. (Condos have living rooms, washers
and dryers, full kitchens, separate bathrooms, porches, balconies,
master suites, hot tubs, dinning rooms.. you get the idea)

$594 per year x 30 years = $17,820 (lodging only)

Now, let’s add it up (you still with me? I have not told you
the good & bad news yet…)

$11,000 membership (financed on a credit card or business loan)
$17,820 lodging costs
———-
$28,820 total

Now… what was the cost WITHOUT membership: $37,380

I just saved you $8560 bones.

Here is the bottom line.

I’ll show you how to make back that $28,820 you’ll spend over
30 years, by developing a business that pays you $9705 per
sale.

That means if you make 3 sales in 30 years at the top package,
you’ll have made your money back. Not a bad deal if you ask me
and most people can make at least 1 sale per year with this,
just by showing it friends and family… seriously…

Time shares wont pay you this kind of money… EVER.

So the bottom line, as I mentioned, is this…

You are going to go on vacation no matter what.
It’s a certainty. People travel more now than ever. It’s not
going to go away. Do you want a piece of a $7 trillion dollar
pie?

The Good news is (this is the good news I am finally refering
back to now) I am running a sweetheart special today and tomorrow
only. Two days – Feb 14 and 15.

The Bad news is, I am only doing it for the first 3 people to
take action right now. (It was 4 but I made an $3995 sale yesterday
to Brad who just couldn’t wait and wanted in NOW before all the
spots were gone).

So, what is the deal you are asking?

For the next 3 people who buy in at these levels you get this:

Platinum Level – $11,000 price = $45,000 in value

Bonus #1 -
All expenses paid to Los Angeles with your sweetheart
or business partner to our live training event, Feb 23 & 24.
That includes Flights, Hotel, and Conference cost.
see www.danijohnsonseminar.com

PLUS…

Bonus #2 -
You’ll get a new laptop… to take your work with you!

Plus Bonus #3
5000 Leads to get your business started

ONLY 3 of these remain.
Premier Level – $3995 price = $35,000 in value

Bonus #1 -
Free Conference cost for you and spouse to attend our business
training conference in Los Angeles Feb 23 & 24. You and your
spouse or biz partner.
www.danijohnsonseminar.com

PLUS…

Bonus #2
2000 Leads to get your business started

ONLY 3 of these remain.
Classic Level – $1295 price = $15,000 in value

Bonus #1 – 500 Free leads
Bonus #2 – Million Dollar Sciptbooks

That’s it. If it’s time for a financial change
and if you want to SAVE money on travel and MAKE money on it too,
then do something right now.

Go to this page and be one of the first 3 to order now.
Do this immediately: http://www.ordercoastalvacations.com

Or

Call me 651-769-2189 and I’ll help you over the phone.

Now, if you do nothing at all.. no problem, continue to
spend top dollar on the same vacations you normally go on,
and don’t make any money back while on vacation for 30 years.

Just throw it out the window.

Flush it down the toilet… at least you’ll have some good photo
memories at the lake and other places you go.. but you’ll still
be broke in 30 years when you retire.

How I know this? Cause the United States Government tells me…

98% of the popular at age 65 are dead broke – 2% are wealthy.

Will you PLEASE… PLEASE… do yourself a favor and do somthing
right now to be one of the 2%’ers?

This might not be right for you. I understand
that. If you know someone it is right for, pass it over to them,
okay?

Let me help you… I’ve done ok here… I’ve only sold over
$2 million bucks of these memberships in 3 years… I know it’s
not a whole lot… maybe 630 memberships in all.. but I know I
can do better.

And I know you can get a piece of the $7 trillion travel industry
pie for yourself too.

I’ll help you. I am still here, almost 4 years later. I am with
the same company. Most people change companies every 4 months.
I am not going to leave you hanging with support.

It’s a phone call, webinar away, always. Just call or order now.

Be one of the first 3 to make a smart decision or, be the person
who resists and pays more and gets less. (please, don’t be this
person)

It’s your call.

651-769-2189

I am not sure how it fell into my lap, but I found the citalink live caller system.

If you are a network marketer, direct sales agent, or have a business where leads and dailing is your daily duty, should you be using Citalink?

Well, today, I finally turned it on, and before I did, I was hearing testimonials like this one:

“I used it today and it is really quite amazing!!In about 15 minutes it dialed 38 people – it left 9 voice messages, I got ahold of 8 people, got my info to 2 of them..set up appointments with a couple that weren’t in a good spot to talk….ALL in 15 minutes…It takes a few minutes to get used to the phone not ringing and to be ready when someone says ‘hi’…

I am impressed – I must say – as I worked a grand total of about 15 min. on the phone and it replaced a good hour of time for me!”

So pretty cool results right? Well, here are my results from today, where I dialed, or “let the system do it” for me.

You can see I got 68 dials in 1 hour.

16 connections

I spoke to many people of which I have 3 serious prospects.

I began my calls at 4:00 pm CST in the afternoon, so if I dial at night, I would expect the #’s to be even higher.

I left 5 voicemails, and the system left 5 voicemails, so that’s 10. My voicemail is 40 secs long, so that would take about 8 minutes of my time if I was doing it live.

Keep looking at and studying the results.

In my opinion the system integration and CMS is the genius behind this all. Actually the way you make calls is genius too, but it’s a very wicked cool system, which saves busy networkers time, takes away phone phobia and actually just allows you to talk to prospects and not hear busy signals, not hear disconnected #’s and not deal with answering machines. If you do get a machine, you press a button when it beeps, and it leaves your messages and you don’t have to wait for it to play, it just does it while it goes and finds you a new caller to talk to. That’s impressive.

Then you can take notes, which it calls dispositions which you can select how the call went and what your next step will be:

remove, not interested

Made an appointment

not home, left message

asked to send email

put on do not call ever again list.. etc…

So then you can link the dispositions to a calender and make an appointment so you know your follow times and dates.

It’s very handy to have all this on one place.

As usual, having the perfect system, does not guarantee anyone results cause there is an “X-Factor” which still comes into play.

The X-factor is leads.

The type of leads you dump in and upload will make or break you. It really does matter. IÂ know of a lead company that has always has had positive reviews and been selling leads since 2003. I happen to own the company, so I am biased!

But you can see the good leads which I sell to people all over the world at www.goldmillsmarketing.com.

So, on a scale from 1 to 10, my rating is a 9.9. I won’t give it a 10 cause 10 is perfect and nothing is ever perfect. But for what I am about to do, this system will become an amazing money generator for me.

My next step is to hire several stay home moms and outsource all my appointment setting tasks to them, and then only talk to people who have jumped through my qualifiers, then, they’ll be putty in my hands and ready to join my primary program, Coastal Vacations Club.

I strongly recommend you click on this link: citalink live caller system and get signed up for the live dialer.

I hear they have a robust autodialer/voiceblaster which costs around .08 cents per leads per call, which is way better than www.myvoiceshot.com prices.

If you have used the system, I’d like to know what your opinions are. How did it work for you? Was it easy to set up? Did you talk to more people? Did anyone reach out through the phone and choke you?

I was so stoked, I used my package to stay in another resort the following week, and got the same rate, for the same amount of time!
