Big Time Signs That We are in A Big Time Recession

So, now the news media is finally coming clean with info saying… we are in a recession. Duh!

It does not take a rocket scientist to see the trends which started back in early 2007 and are now spiraling out before us left and right.

Lessons from these notes:

1. Don’t put your job salvation in the hands of another company, it might not make it.

2. Good businesses do go outa business often. Remeber 92-98% of all businesses, whether home based or brick and mortar fail, go belly up.

3. Running a business in good and bad times is hard, takes work, and don’t expect to get rich over night.

4. Owning a Home Based Business is a better shot of financial independence. With some training, hard work and smart marketing, one can make a living, work from home and get the freetime and financial leverage everyone always dreams of.

How to End the Financial Crisis in America… NOW!

Here is the perfect bailout plan for America.  Give every American over 18… $425,000 in cash!

Best plan we have heard so far!

The $85,000,000,000.00 bailout of AIG.

I’m in favor of giving $85,000,000,000 to America in a We Deserve It Dividend.

To make the math simple, let’s assume there are 200,000,000 bonafide U.S. Citizens 18+.

Our population is about 301,000,000 +/- counting every man, woman and child. So 200,000,000 might be a fair stab at adults 18 and up.. So divide 200 million adults 18+ into $85 billon that equals $425,000.00.

My plan is to give $425,000 to every person 18+ as a We Deserve It Dividend.

Of course, it would NOT be tax free.

So let’s assume a tax rate of 30%.

Every individual 18+ has to pay $127,500.00 in taxes.

That sends $25,500,000,000 right back to Uncle Sam.

Coastal Vacation Club Scam – Watch Out for This One

I recieved a cashier’s check yesterday for a L1 package but the check was for $3,000.00 I was told to deduct my price from the check and then wire the rest via western union to a “michael clinton” of Fairplay shipping co. ltd. ( based in the uk). He was very persistant about me “hurrying” to send the remaining money. I assumed that It was a scam but went to my credit union to veryify if the funds were legit. sure enough It was a bogeous check. If I were to have gone through with the transaction before checking if the funds were legit, I would have lost a few thousand dollars to this scam! What I learned from this…

1. never accept more than is negotiated for the package price
2. always verify that the funds are legit before sending the package. (just having the check is not good enough)
3. never agree to pay an overage via western union

6-Wanna-be’s wait for their lucky break.  Entrepreneurs engineer four, five, six plans and execute them in tandem, wagering that at least one plan will get traction.

7-Wanna-be’s fear looking stupid in front of their friends.  Entrepreneurs willingly risk making fools of themselves, knowing that long-term success is a good trade for short-term loss of dignity.
