I often wondered this myself.

This is the best cover design software on the internet, cause it makes your product in 300 dpi, not 72 dpi. DPI stands for Dots Per Inch and if you want to take your cover offline, you need it to be 300 dpi. But 72 dpi works well for the net too.

You’ll alos need Adobe Photoshop, which is expensive, to manipulate the photos and the artwork according to your styles and graphical tastes.
