Giving is Good Business… from the heart

Just watched a video and one of the slogans in the video was... "Giving is Good Business" So much of business is take take take - you've seen it, I am guilty of it too, but if your business is not into giving, then you are missing out on a big part of why we all went into business in the first place. We all went into entrepreneurial endeavors to find time freedom, financial freedom and to give back to our communities and support causes, right? It's not about the money, the cars, homes or exotic vacations, I know, I've had all that and it definitely can leave a person feeling empty inside. Have you ever heard of "Cause Marketing?" Wikipedia says: Cause marketing or cause-related marketing refers to a type of marketing involving the cooperative efforts of a "for profit" business and a non-profit organization for mutual benefit. The term is sometimes used more broadly and generally to refer to any type of marketing effort for social and other charitable causes, including in-house marketing efforts by non-profit organizations. Cause marketing differs from corporate giving (philanthropy) as the latter generally involves a specific donation that is tax deductible, while cause marketing is a marketing relationship not necessarily based on a donation. A big cause marketing campaign over the last couple years was the "red" campaign. When people bought red products, a portion of that money went to fund aids victims in Africa. My company, Goldmills Marketing, believes in cause marketing too. One of my friends has a very big dream to make human trafficking go away. You probably did not know there are more slaves being trafficked all over the world than there was before the Civil War in America. You probably thought that slavery was outlawed by Abe Lincoln and that it went away since you don't "see it" anymore.. Hope and Rescue's mission is to Re-Abolish Modern Day Slavery. Breaking news – The marketers cruise is about to sell out!
