My good friends over at Unique Blog Designs, have released a new premium theme which focuses on list building with wordpress.
It’s called the Squeeze Theme. Squeeze is a reference to “squeezing out” someone’s name and email address to build you own marketing database.
This theme would work great for niche affiliate sites where you sell 1, a few, 100′s or 1000′s of products and want to try to capture leads.
It’s a VERY innovative and clean theme, which ties into main stream autoresponder accounts like AWEBER and Get Response too.

I hear complaints from people DAILY in my email box….

And those are great, real and honest questions. But I don’t have the answers. I figured it out for myself, and I know you can do. I don’t know what it’ll take for you, but I do know you can do it. I do know you can succeed, because we all have the same internet, same resources available right in our minds and hearts to achieve whatever we can conceive.

I was just surfing through Mashable.com and saw the most unconventional method for getting “buzz” at a live convention.
A German book company, Eichborn, decided to think beyond the booth at the 2009 Frankfurt Book Fair. The advertising stunt they concocted though is something that, uh, flies in the face of convention.
Eichborn’s “smallest commercial gimmick in the world” was simple: attach physical banner ads to actual flies. Yes, they somehow tied small red Eichborn banner ads to flies and let them loose in the Frankfurt Book Fair. The result was flying advertising that nobody could miss.
While I’m sure that the flies didn’t appreciate the extra weight, you have to give it to Eichborn for its creativity. Still, I hope fly ads don’t become a trend; I don’t attend conferences just to be pestered by branded insects.

Although it started off purely as a blogging tool, WordPress has since evolved into a full-fledged publishing and marketing system.
Every day, there are thousands of new WordPress users. Although there are tons of technical documentation online, the majority of new users won’t find them useful at all. In fact, most of them prefer a non-technical, step-by-step “how to” guide to getting started. That’s why a lot of smart marketers are making tons of money selling video tutorials that teach others how to set-up, configure and use WordPress.
The only problem is that developing WordPress videos by yourself is close to being suicidal. Consider this – in the past year alone WordPress has completely changed it’s appearance and functions with every new upgrade. This means that by the time you’re done creating your video tutorials, there are already outdated. Even if you manage to sell them, you’ll be getting a lot of angry customers when these videos get outdated a few weeks down the road.
