		<description>Jeff,

Potential affiliates are concerned with a lot of factors in making their decision about what products they should promote. Here are just a few they should consider :

* PASSION - Do you have a passion for the product. That is, do you get excited just talking about it. Why do I need that you may ask? Isn&#039;t making money from it enough? the answer is that without passion, you will not persevere during the down times.

* BUDDY READY - Don&#039;t pick the first thing you see or the easiest one to sign up for. Learn about the product and check out the value in it. Make sure you could recommend it to your buddy. Remember, it&#039;s your reputation on the line.

* TIME - Give yourself time to make a profit over the long run. Don&#039;t give up. Manypeople are making a full time income promoting affiliate products.

* HOT - That&#039;s right, you want it hot. The hotter the better. The product must be popular and in demand in the niche you are targeting. Make sure to get current information so you have a pulse on what&#039;s happening now.

* CONVERSION - Hot is good, but only if the product converts into sales. For most established products you promote, .5% to 10% is a good conversion ratio. Anything outside that range should set off an alarm and make you think ..... Am I getting the real deal or just a partial truth.

* COOKIES - No, not the kind you eat. Although with the right kind, you will be able to eat well off the generated revenue. Cookies are a method of tracking the affiliate sales. Find out how long the cookie lasts and if it can be overwritten. Those factors will determine how yo market the product.

* SUPPORT - The program should provide tools and support to sell the products. That includes banners, adds, graphics, html code, catchy sales phrases, autoresponder and sequences.

* COMMISSIONS - Do you earn commissions for back end and renewal sales? this means yo get paid when someone buys a followup product or reoccurring charges.
