Footprints in the Sand

(13) Comments So Far... What do you think? August 15, 2008

When times are rough, the finances low, and the stress levels high, you have to have a rock or a foundation to stand on to be able to wether the storms of your life.

People need to know, there is a hope and a promise in Jesus and God and that he will never leave you or ever “disown” you. When God feels far away, ask yourself… “Who Moved?”

And in truth, the answer is never God, cause is unchanging in his love and determination to get you to fall wildly in love with him.

So, enjoy the timeless poem, Footprints in the Sand in video format, put to music, and realize our hope is in Him, who walks with us and carries us when no one else will.

Lovely….. I also have grown fond of Leona Lewis’ recent version (which I listen to almost every day).

Thanks for your great inspiration….. I have been feeling very low and depressed lately as I’ve this wonderful product, but cannot find the right way to promote it without spending a lot of money… but I know God will provide this in ggod time.

    God bless.

What a beautiful way to start the day! “Footprints in the Sand” has always been one of my most favorite “reassurances”……….. Another I’d like to recommend to anyone who is like minded is a little Devotional book called “Jesus Calling”, by Sarah Young.

God Bless…..hope you have a beautiful day!

Thanks for sharing this beautiful video. A great reminder for us when things get tough. A timely message for me as I deal with some major changes that have come about in our family.

Jeff, this came at the perfect time! We found out on our 25th Anniversary that my husband needs another heart surgery. Things were already overwhelming, and we have just decided to sell our home, to lower our debt. Thank you so much for the reminder of Gods provision!

    Hi Jeff,

TYVM for sharing your thoughts above and this video… It was quite timely for my current situation.

Yeah, I’m a believer in Jesus Christ who has let my life’s circumstances get in the way of my relationship with Him. And while I know that God is unchanging, this post and video have helped me to realize that it is ME who has MOVED — NOT God!

Indeed, He has been carrying me for a long time now, and I pray that I can stand on my own two feet again soon and walk tall next to Him, like I did when I first believed. The Lord is my ROCK and although I seem to forget that sometimes, little things like this help me to remember.

I truly appreciate your courage to keep God in the mix, even in your business. I strive to do the same, in ALL things, especially my business dealings. Thanks again and I pray that God blesses YOU and YOURS most abundantly!

    Sincerely,

    Michael Brock

P.S. You got my Digg & I also gave it a “thumbs-up” on StumbledUpon!

Hi again..I just stumbled upon this website yesterday evening when reading about the story of the couple that received their Christmas miracle. I realized this morning I’ve already given up and faced the “fact” that I no longer believe that God will come through for me, for us. This has been the toughest year, the toughest and hardest Christmas (not just financially) that I’ve ever had to face. I feel like my heart is in a million pieces and there is just no way to get it back together. I’m praying that someone buys my vehicle today so we will have the funds to pay the utility bills. I’m praying for God to show me what to do, give me an idea, something that will bring in the income I need so desperately need. That is when I realized I had no hope..I’d given up and accepted defeat, and I honestly do not know how to “backtrack” and regain the hope I’ve lost. It would take a book to write what I’ve been through the past month. How I’m still around is beyond me. Just last night I had a dream and it ended with me on my knees, doubled over in a silent cry, the hurt too deep for even words to come out in a prayer.
My landlord had to do some work here yesterday and was working in my bedroom, and I found my Footprints poem. I placed it on my dresser after dusting it off. Then this morning I found this on your site. Maybe, there is hope. Maybe He is carrying me. Maybe it’s time for me to begin my own blog on my own site..I don’t know..Maybe it’s time for me to believe that He can and will rescue us.
God bless, and thank you for this.
