Izabella Mills Sings A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes at Talent Show
(6) Comments So Far... What do you think? May 17, 2008One of the great benefits of working from home is I can pretty much do what I want during the daytime, unlike those with jobs who are locked into having to stay a work.
Today, I went to Minnehaha Falls, and did some video filming with my friend Henry, then went to my daughter Izzy's school for a talent show which was taking place at 1 pm.
There were about 14 kids performing from grades Kindergarten through 6th grade. She was one of 2 kindergarteners to perform amongst alll her peers (400 people in the room).
Now, here are some things you need to know about Izzy.
- She is very shy
- She never does anything "big" in front of people
- She came up with the idea to sing a song for her school talent show
- She said she was not nervous at all!
Her mom and I were surprised, but agreed if she practiced everyday.
So, Izzy practiced every day for two weeks, and her mom, helped her and, so, here is Izzy's big performance that made us all proud. She did a great job. You might need to lean in and listen closely as the mic was not on too loud.

What a sweetheart! She was so composed, even when they were raising the mic. It was a beautiful performance. No wonder you are proud of her.
