How does Joel get adsense on thousands of websites..are they all his own websites..?
I find this short of an impossibility. How come I cant get access to thousands of websites.like Joel does.?

please explain honestly and please dont try to sell me anything in order to find out something..such as the question I’m asking right now..
this is my biggest complaint about people like you and other marketers. you all want everyone to buy something just to find out something..
many of us go broke just to find out out a particular piece of information..
only to find that if they want to know more you have to buy more..WOW..

quite frankly I am very skeptical of any on line opporrtunity..I talk to many people in my journey thru life and the one thing I ask everyone is…. if they have found internet success..after many years of asking, to this day I have not personally, face to face, found anyone who can sincerley tell me that they have found success.

the only people that I see have success are people like you.. people that I do not know, people that are only visoins on a computer screen, testimponies that are unbeleivable, screenshots of unusual sums of money earned, it all appears as though this was some kind of dream..How can anyone place any faith in this.. You for instance say you were a youth pastor.. I say …Oh really.!
but you mention nothing Godly in your experiences …is God out of your life now.. does he deserve any Glory for your success…

I come from a family with 3 Baptist Pastors who are related to me by Marriage.. all 3 are Husbands to my wife’s sisters they are presently building and running curches in their communities..

They are more interested in saving souls than trying to earn a buck on the internet.. what turned the tide for you..? I,m really curious..As you can tell I have trouble finding validity on the internet..Its very impersonal and I have foound that anyone can say anything to try to get somebody to buy something..

I dont doubt that you have found success..I hope you share that success with the church that has thought you fundamental values..we all know what the Bible says about the Love of Money.. I’m still trying to figure you out.. you appear honest and forthwright but what I cant tell is why you say you are trying to help me and others find success…. Is it to enrich yourself or is to help us make a living.. ???? and why..?

If I were making a living I would be greatfull and happy but unfortunately I have not experienced any kind of succes on the internet despite my efforts and all that I have learned in this last year and a half..

Unlike my in-laws I am not a pastor but I talk to my family quite a bit and you are very much different from them.. is this good or bad, I’m not sure..
I do however wish I could supplement my income for my childrens sake to give them the opportunity I cant seem to attain..for whatever reason…
That is why I struck an interest in what you have to say, but I will not waste my money unless I can see, feel, and experience positive results..
Sorry thats just the way I am.. please bear in mind that I do have a successfull brick and mortar business..I am house builder for the last 20 years of my life..
but I’m getting tired of it..although its rewarding, I’m looking for something different in life..for me and my children..

Add to this or just archive it..
I would like to know more about you..

    Hi Ralph,

Joel uses templated software and adds his adsense code into those templates using software that does all the work for him. There is no way he hand codes each site.

He uses computers to replicate sites and content, and then to upload that content online.

We want people to buy something, cause we are information marketers. It’s how we make our money, you should not look down on this method. People have been selling and buying information products for hundreds dare say.. thousands of years… It’s how they get educated about a subject.

Books are information products, which has been selling forever.

The most often read information product is the Bible. (but it’s more than an informational product, much more. It’s the story of humanity falling away from God and his love letter to restore them back into a right relationship with their creator… but sadly… many people just don’t want that relationship and God is so kind… he let’s people have what they want, even though it breaks his heart. So.. I digress…)

Since this is how I make a living (selling products that help people), I must sell and put a price and value to the products I sell. People buy if the value is there and I guarantee each product I create myself is good and if people don’t like it, I give them their money back. If I gave products away free, no one would value it, or use it. I know this cause I have done it in the past and it does nothing for either party.

Actually, there is a time to give things away for free and a time to charge money for it too.

Guess how many people find success in business ventures… 3%.. that’s it Ralph. Facts are facts… 98-97% of all businesses… ALL businesses, whether internet or brick and mortar fail.

9 out of 10 business fail according to Gov’t stats.

These are well known #’s. I call it the law of being human and I wrote a really long post about it.

AND, you need to know yourself well enough to know which percentage side you’ll end up… the 97% or the 3%? Success is a choice. It is completing the task you started. It is just getting it done, no matter what, with no excuses. People make too many excuses.

Because I don’t say.. God bless you… or quote scripture and ACT like what a person thinks a person who is a pastor or used to be a Pastor should act like, why do people judge me? I don’t EVER judge people for what they do or do not do.. but people judge me all the time based on a stereotype… AND personally I am ok with that cause I really don’t give a crap what people think about me.

I am a minister in the market place. I do my work here, amongst the broken, hurting and downtrodden who I would have never ministered to in a church building. I represent Jesus here in the unique way he as allowed me to be and speak and that’s ok Ralph.. he needs me in this place, or he would have a different place for me and this is the right place for me.

You don’t have to believe me Ralph, you don’t have to trust me and you don’t have to do business with me if you don’t want to. I might not even want to do business with you either, but I don’t question who you are.. how much money you make and if you are a better Christian than me cause you pray 3 times a day and gave a donation in the tip box at Starbucks today.

I am glad your pastor friends are interested in saving souls. I hope they are just passionate about it and that it brings them joy in what they do.

I love helping people journey with Jesus too, but only Jesus saves souls… I don’t do that. I just tell people what he has done, and that he wants to have an intimate relationship with them, and that he is madly in love with them and he died on a cross to prove his love… they decide what that will mean for them.

What turned the tide (stepping out of church paid ministry) for me is that I was in debt, from seminary and our family life was changing, we would never get out of debt on a small salary from the church. We’d never have any freedom. We’d work 48 weeks a year, and have some holidays off and work 50-60 hours a week cause that is what people expect of their pastors, or they aren’t ‘holy’.

My wife and I served in two different churches for 3 years, had a baby and were not seeing each other much. As a matter of fact, with each of us in nightly meetings we saw each other maybe 3 nights per week and never went to church on Sundays together. My church was cool about it and every once in a while they let me have a Sunday off to go to church with my wife, where she was ministering as the children’s pastor… how cool was that!

But God gave us the grace to minister in this capacity for 2 years until I was able to finally prosper from some internet businesses, I wanted to integrate our family in 1 place, 1 church and be able to financially support that endeavor.

I prayed it into existence (asked God to give me the desires of my heart), and God opened the door for me to step out of paid ministry from the church and become a minister in the market place, where I feel I have helped way more people than from when I was a pastor for 9 years even… It’s been a wonderful experience. And it’s the way it should be for me personally. I am not saying this is what everyone has to do, but it is my journey.

I was able to stay home, raise my daughter, help plant a new church with my wife on the leadership team and be home everyday, doing what I came to love.. which is “creative marketing.” I just love marketing. I love teaching people marketing, training people, coming up with new systems and helping people become doers instead of knowledge containers.

The internet is very impersonal because its just information stored in plastic and metal machines, it’s not human. That is why I put up videos… so people can see the real me. That is why I put on seminars, so people can meet the real me and the real others who are really having success online, shake my hand, give me a hug or laugh with each other. That is why I join social media networks and connect and network with other people, so I can get to know them better and they can get to know me better too. I certainly have not learned all I can so I continue to learn from others.

Yes, I am very clear on the Love of money is the root of all evil, but some people keep thinking if Christians have money then they are evil. If Christians have nice things, they are evil cause those judging usually don’t have nice things, cause they have an improper view of a God with no limits and a God who love things at are “good”. I love what money does for people. I love what money can do for ministries and churches and communities. But I don’t love money Ralph. I love how money actually does create happiness in people, as they save it, spend it, give it away or invest it and watch it multiply into more.

So yes, the church has taught me a lot about money. Too bad most of the teaching it did teach me were wrong in most cases and taught from poverty minded people… not prosperity minded people.

Sad huh? I learned all I know about money from the marketplace people cause the churches I was in did not have a clue about it, cause everyone, including the pastor was broke they had no way to teach properly on it.

It’d be great to find a church teaching this properly somewhere.

I make a living helping people do what I do and find their passions which makes them an income.

Have you ever heard of people getting paid for doing what they love? That is how I feel.

So Ralph… here is the million dollar question for you to answer….

In 1.5 years you have not had any success online… WHY IS THAT?

    Jeff
