Merry Christmas to my Friends, Subscribers, and Customers!

Here is my cheery elfish daughter, bringing you a holiday smile and the secret of the Christmas Story…

Izzy B

I found the Secret to Christmas on a Penny!

It is a busy time.  And man, look at all the online stores pushing hard to get you to buy the latest high tech gizmo, gadget and Sony PlayStation III or Nintendo Wii?

We are faced with decisions each holiday season. Get busy being busy, doing all the parties, writting the Christmas Cards and sending them to people we hardly know, because they sent us a card first, so…you know… the polite thing to do is write them back! We are funny creatures.

For many, Christmas is a time of mourning, as they remember ones who have passed away, and maybe this is their first Christmas with out that special someone for you?

Or maybe this Christmas is filled with new beginnings. New births, new ideas and dreams, making sure this next year won’t be the same as the last.

We are celebrating this Christmas in California, with my family, in Huntington Beach, CA. We are on a two week journey, having stoped in Las Vegas to make a ‘donation’ and then to Anahiem, where LaRae, Izzy and I spent two days at Disneyland. Man… Disneyland is cool at Christmastime.

I used to march in the Christmas parades at Disneyland when I was in high school in the marching band, and I remember it like it was yesterday, but now, the local bands have been replaced with pretty princesses and the many new Disney themed characters to walk the parade and make us smile.

I gave Izzy the camera and she snapped many pix, many actually keepers, and we enjoyed the time there riding old and new rides.

On Christmas Eve day, we spent the morning going to Calvary Chapel Church in Huntington Beach, and then went to Christmas Eve service at the church I grew up in which is Harbor Trinity in Costa Mesa. They each were great services reminding us why we celebrate Christmas.

I just wanted you all to pause right now, and discover the true meaning and true secret which was put on the United States Copper Penny….

penny

Take out a penny from your pocket or in your desk… rub it in your fingers for a second… now, look at it with a magnifying
glass or pretend you are Indiana Jones, trying to unlock some ancient riddle, because if you look hard enough…

You will see the secret staring you right in the face!

In case you are wondering, the secret is not, “In God We Trust”

It is the saying… on the back, “One Cent

That is why I celebrate and love Christmas, because I am reminded of the ONE SENT to earth from heaven above, who became flesh and lived here on Earth.  I am talking about Jesus, the Son of God.

Mighty amazing to think of the all powerful creator sqeezing himself into a tiny baby and then being born in a way that we are all born, and living on earth for 33 years, just so people could see, hear, touch, and know the loving father.

Don’t miss the secret gift of Christmas this year.  Take a penny out and do a pop quiz with Someone, and see if they will discover it too?

Remember the Gift God sent to us - Jesus. I always like to remind people of the story of Christmas, open the Bible, if you have one, and read Luke chapter 2, and discover the secret of Christmas for yourself!

Thanks Jeff for that awesome message. I think a lot of people get lost in the commercialization of the Christmas holiday. We should all remember that “Jesus is the reason for the season”.

Hi, Jeff. I’m writing up from Mexico City and I really don’t know what to say right now. I think God has set me at the right place and at the right time to make decisions that will entirely change my life.

I wish to let you know that if everything has been a bit difficult to finally get the opportunities that you offer to us all, not because we are just your costumers, but because you care about people’s dreams and needs all over the world.

I sincerely wish you the best christmas seasons and holidays, and the best for us all in the close future.
