Back in 2004, I went to Armand Morin’s Big Seminar, and while there, I had some photos of me taken. I had seen what Armand created with his online branding, and I wanted to copy it. Now you see a ton of people with their “cross your arms” poses on all their websites. My friend Val Smyth told me these cross your arms photos make people look like they are ‘closed off’ but I guess I never thought of that.

Those photos cost me about $250 to take, and I am so grateful that I spent the money, as I was able to leverage those photos into a brand. Have you ever seen this picture on any of my sites? It’s back when I had hair, which is strange cause this was only 3 years ago when I took these.. Man, losing your hair sucks, but oh well not big deal.

I want to thank Yanik Silver for this great piece of work as he wrote most of it this article. I have personalized it for my situation, since our stories are very similar. If you boil down my biggest profit windfalls in my business (and the most astute marketers I observe) it has come down to selling premium products and services at premium prices.
