New Craigslist Book, Just Released!

(6) Comments So Far... What do you think? February 28, 2007

Blackbook of Craigslist.orgIf you have not picked up the NEWEST Craigslist Marketing Book, check out the latest Craigslist BlackBook, just released today!

http://tinyurl.com/3d5nws

Here are 3 free tips about marketing your warez on www.craigslist.org.

 Tip #1

Post you links in FORIEGN Countries. Why? When you post in San Francisco, for example, there are over 100 posts a DAY and your post will fall off the page in a matter of hours and not been seen.

Why?

People usually don’t click to see what is on page 2 postings. So you HAVE to be on page 1.

When you post in spots like Bangalore, India - http://bangalore.craigslist.org/biz/, or Dublin, Ireland - http://dublin.craigslist.org/biz/, your posts will be on page one for MONTHS. AND, if you put some good search engine optimized phrases as the subject line, you’ll find that post in the search engines for months ranking highly. I recently found a post I did for Coastal Vacations on PAGE 1 of google for a very popular search phrase!

Tip #2

If you own a business opportunity, don’t post your ads in the JOBS section. Post your ads for people looking to make money at home in the SERVICES section and in the subsection there called - Small Biz Ads.

Don’t use affiliate links, get a top level domain name to MASK the affiliate link. Use a subdomain name off one of your other domains, which acts as a re-direct or forwarding link to you affiliate URL. Or use www.tinyurl.com to mask your affiliate link for free.

Tip #3

Use Image Ads.

I have already once posted about using images in craigslist in my blog here.

BONUS Tip #4

If you have not already picked up the newest Craigslist Blackbook, which was just released today, get it now. It’s only a small $7 fee, which ANYONE can afford. It’s got priceless tips on how to profit, generate leads and traffic, which the other Craigslist Traffic book from last week, did not cover!

Need a Killer Cover for your New Product

(2) Comments So Far... What do you think? February 21, 2007

Cover Action Pro - Works Like a ChampIf you have ever bought an ebook, or wanted to sell your own product online, you may have wondered how people get those killer covers, books, CD’s and DVD’s and Sprial Binder book art made.

Get your beautiful killer product covers here.

I often wondered this myself.

Since I am throwing my hat into the $7 product ring here in just a few days, with some of my own creations, I needed a good looking product cover and did not know where to get one.

My buddy Reed Floren showed me the way, and so I found what I was looking for, throught maybe if you wanted to have your own killer cover for your own $7 product, you’d want to know too?

This is the best cover design software on the internet, cause it makes your product in 300 dpi, not 72 dpi. DPI stands for Dots Per Inch and if you want to take your cover offline, you need it to be 300 dpi. But 72 dpi works well for the net too.

Get your beautiful killer product covers here.

You can see all kinds of sample designs there on the site, including video tutorials which show you how to get things done.

You’ll alos need Adobe Photoshop, which is expensive, to manipulate the photos and the artwork according to your styles and graphical tastes.

5 Reasons Why I Blog

(3) Comments So Far... What do you think? February 14, 2007

Ray Edwards tagged me.

So…  Now I gotta answer 5 Reasons why I am blogging, then I need to pick 5 other bloggers and have them answer and pass on their question to 5 people each, and so on and so on… I’ll be your Huckleberry…. sounds fun.

1. I blog because it is easier than writing a website! Ya, I built and wrote a lot of websites, but I love how fast and simple it is to come up with an idea, log in, put it down by making the thought a real thing that is now captured digitally for me and others to see. I can just write about whatever, or throw out a promotion or just post a video for people to enjoy.

2. I blog because I love how the search engines love blogs. Everytime I post, google knows about it in a couple hours. I use Google alerts and I can see my blogs getting picked up by google the SAME DAY, multiple times a day. I can see when other people quote my blog or talk about it. Getting good rankings with good posts is fun. Watching how it works and seeing it work is so easy, compared to building a static website, that pretty much never changes, other than finding an occasional spelling error I overlooked 40 times and finally found. Search engines love blogs cause they are current, real and now. They are not static, but dynamic.

3. I blog because I believe in the “WHO IS” concept I have started and always championed. People can read my who is story at www.whoisjeffmills.com but it ends there. It was the past up to that point and I did not add any more to the story. I guess I could. I made more money, met more people, got involed in more programs, but with a blog, you see the history. You can view the history of my posts, from the first day in November, 2006, when I wrote  my first post here. You know who I am, sometimes…. better than I might know myself and that is kinda strange.

4. I blog because it is podcast friendly. I can get an easy RSS Feed, all seamless and done for me. I can create audio or video podcasts, with a plugin called Podpress and I can share messages, both audio and video with people in a way words on a page won’t. You take me with you when you job, drive, play or just are bored. You listen to me when it is best for you. I give you choice and convenience.

5. I blog because I can make money with it. I can recommend products, services, links to my stuff, other people’s stuff and people click, go and buy. Wow, that was easy. Based on a recommendation of a friend (me), my readers listen and obey. They trust me cause I don’t talk about junk. I can put up ads in my blog, Yahoo Ads, affiliate links, people come here click and I make an income which pays the bills and feeds my family. Thank you!

And because I am a marketer and you always have to give a bonus…

6. I blog because this is how people can have a two way dialogue. The internet is no longer a spectator sport, where people just watch and read. Now they react and interact. People can tell me my post was way off or right on. I can get feedback, and I can get help when I am stumped. I make friends, I made enemies.

Ok, those are my 5 Reasons why I am blogging, plus one bonus.

And Now… I deem the tag on these 5 people, pass it on…

  1. John Roney
  2. Joel Comm
  3. Matthew Glanfield
  4. Paul Colligan
  5. Taylor Marek

13 Experts are Coming To Your House - Will You Let Them In?

(0) Comments So Far... What do you think? February 14, 2007

Finally.

Here is a sneak peak at the box art for my case which will contains DVD’s and CD’s from my famous, “Midwest Super Conference.”

Taking Orders Soon for Midwest Super Conference DVD's and CD's

Comments from those who attended raved on and on how this was the best internet marketing event or seminar that they have ever been to. I was humbled, and still am.

Being this was my first shot at an internet marketing gig, all the speaker and those who came said it rocked. And thanks again to those who came, and those who spoke. You are my heroes!

And yes… there will be another Super Conference in September in 2007 back here in Minnesota! I am getting dates and speakers secured now.

There are over 22 hours of precious “How To’s” waiting for you to consume and apply on these digital discs… This is the insider info you all need.

If you were there, you know how special it was.

If you missed it, you’ll want to get my inagural launch set, sure to be a “collector’s item.”

I spared no skimpy expenses in producing these videos. The creation of this set cost me well over $10,000. This is not grandmas betamax recorder, from a stationary camera either, this is a multi-camera shoot, with powerpoint overlays, picture in picture and superior quality, no matter if you are getting the CD’s or the DVD (why not get both!?).

So, why not take 13 of the spot speakers in their niches home with you, pop them in the DVD player and get the missing pieces that are holding you back?

It’s easier than ever before.

Go watch some sample videos on my other blog, www.midwestsuperconference.com/blog.

I anticipate the launch of these DVD’s next week! And I am only limiting the DVD and CD’s to a total of 50 sets. That means you’ll need to order fast. They’ll all sell out in a heartbeat. You need to own this collector’s set.

Watch for more information next week when we’ll launch, and how you can take these speakers home with you. There is even an affiliate program too, where you can make some money telling your friends about these must have DVD’s!

Bono - From U2, Is One of My Heroes

(0) Comments So Far... What do you think? February 11, 2007

One of my favorite all time bands… Is U2. I learned how to play guitar, practicing to the songs off the Joshua Tree album.

I watched a video, where Bill Hybels, from Willow Creek Church interviews Bono and his take on Faith, Jesus, Charity and Celebrity.

What was a really interesting part of the video is where Bono talked about Celebrity.

If you were a celebrity, would you use it for more fame and more fortune or would you use it for the good of mankind and to spread Good News to the poor?

Bono said… “What are you going to with this thing called celebrity? Why would a film star, rock star, sports star be more important than a fireman, nurse or a mother? It’s actually ridiculous… it upsets the God order of things.  But it’s currency. And I decided I am going to spend mine.”

Celebrity is like Currency - powerful.

In the context of the video, Bono is talking about his faith, his views on Jesus as the savior of the world and his response to the poor and how he looks at his celebrity as the currency he can spend to do the work of helping the poor in this world.

If you get a chance to pick up the willow video, and are a fan, you’ll be blown away, it’s on Willows Leadership Summit 2006 series and is a nice piece.

Video deleted by request.
