Mad World - Gary Jules: I can’t get that song outa my head
(2) Comments So Far... What do you think? November 24, 2006The whole time there is this song playing in the background that is hauntingly familiar, but I could not remember where I heard it. It was sung in such a sad way, but cool at the same time…. Just a voice, piano and a chello.
And then I found it (gotta love the internet for searching), just by putting the words, “drown my sorrows, no tomorrow”. For those, just like me, who want to know the song….
Mad World- by Tears for Fears, as sung by Gary Jules.
Here is the video version for your entertainment.
It is interesting that the searches that came up, were YouTube.com videos! It just goes to show you how important video search is playing on the internet today. It is telling me that I need to make a ton of video content and put it up on the web so people can find me.
Last year (2005), I predicted successfully that Podcasting would be the trend of the year. In 2006 Videos and Video blogging and video social networking sites are the hit. What’s next in 2007? Maybe “widgetizing” or WEB 2.0?
I totally recommend you check this piece of software out, if you, like me, plan on submitting videos to many social networking video sites.
WHY?
Because this tool will allow you to upload your video and then send it out to many of the most popular video sites on the net that host video for free.
If you did not read my post from last week, why I am so tweaked on video, here is the link where you can learn more again. CLICK HERE. It’s called Traffic Geyser. Expect to see a lot of press about this great tool.
The site should go live November 28, or there abouts, if there is no technology hiccups.

i haven’t seen the commercial or heard the version of mad world you’re talking about, but I have heard the song mad world by michael andrews from the donnie darko soundtrack. It actually makes sense in the context of the movie and donnies emotional problems.
oops my bad. I just watched the video clip. that IS michael andrews from donnie darko S.T.
